Hello lovely Pinkwriters!!!!!!! I haven't posted since Halloween, I know, but what could I post? Ok, so I would say that Christmas is right around the corner, but if I went around the corner, I'd hit a wall......ahaha. Yes, witty, I know.(: So I finally decided on what to post-Holiday outfits! I won't make you look like a Christmas tree, so don't worry, but the ornament option is still there....
CHRISTMAS EVE BABBYYYY!
So, whether you're going to crash a Christmas party or go to a night service, you gotta wear a new dress. A new dress is always something you need to get. ;) So...what should you wear? Like, what's the new trends? You're going to a holiday party, but the dress call is an UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATER? Seriously? How do I rock that? Or at least look presentable? If you've been stalking Pinterest all day-(activity for Winter Break? I think yes!), like I have, you'll see that different people think different things are in for Christmas. Are they? And...what are they? Do those shoes go with that dress? Does this outfit look wintery? And what can I put with this dress and headband? Well, I think you've come to the right place, my people.
Outfit #1 for Christmas Eve service: (From Target) The sweater dress. Yes, these are a little Etsy, but totally cute. Now, you can either wear matching suede pumps, or ankle boots (who even knows what these kind of boots are called-ugh), but I totally go for the boots. Depending on where you;re going, for instance, if you're going to a party, wear the heels, but if you're at a service or elsewhere, go for the boots.
Service outfit #2: This purplish dress is extremely cute and elegant, and when you add the white sweater, you've gone from party to Christmas Eve service. You could wear dark full length boots, or just calf boots like the one below with this outfit; anything flies. I'd suggest wearing a messy bun on top of your head. (Not smack on top of your head, you're trying to look classy, not like your Barbie dolls from when you were six and in the "I want to be a hairdresser" phase. :) (All pieces are from Target.)
Christmas party outfit #1: (All from Target). When you're not at an ugly Christmas sweater party. what do you wear? Easy. This dress doesn't even need a necklace-the embellished belt is all you need. Adding matching bracelets is a do, but it isn't needed. Like always, high heels aren't needed, but they do add that extra something. Wearing flats make the outfit look less dressy, and that works if you're not going for that, but I advise heels for this Christmas Eve party outfit.
Christmas party outfit #2: This dress, called the "skater" dress is really cute, but class is poured all over it! Wearing insane bangles and one crazy necklace is a do, because of the simple colors in this dress! This is one of my faves. You can wear high heeled ankle boots like the ones below, or you can just slip on a pair of flats, if you don't want too fancy. Depending on how rebellious you want to be, try some neon yellow (that match your necklace) flats. Try not to find embellished flats if you're trying out yellow; then the outfit will look too busy. (All from Target.)
UGLY SWEATAAAAA TIMEEEEE! ♥♥♥
So..you're not exactly the one for ugly sweaters...who is? But fear not, PinkRyders, I have found a way to make those ugly Christmas look halfway presentable! And they may even look a little stylish...So, these are on Pinterest ALL the time, and I thought, "why not use this style when wearing an ugly Christmas sweater? Say, what a wonderful idea this is!" ;) So, here's how to look almost presentable...but an oversized slouchy ugly sweater...yeah, that still doesn't sound presentable. Ok, so make sure that the sweater goes almost to your knees. Throw on some skinny jeans or jeggings, and then slip on some slouchy boots. It will look cute in an ugly Christmas sweater kind of way! :) You can find slouchy sweaters at Walmart, or hit up your Goodwill and find an ugly sweater!
So....check out these styles and then realize that I've saved you from looking unpresentable in an ugly Christmas sweater...ahaha! So, these boots are all in this year, and that's awesome! Floral leggings...not so much.
Until someone looks totally presentable in an ugly Christmas sweater,
