♫Call Me Maybe Cookies!♫

Back again my classiness classy PinkRyders! Today is a good day! So, Cody Simpson's EP, Preview to Paradise is out (go check it out...like, right now!) and that's why it's a good day,  but I know it will be a glorious day for me when the song "Call Me Maybe" is not played 25 times a day on the radio. (Sorry Carly Rae!) The other day I felt like I should try making a new dessert for the fam, so I took out Dining on a Dime and starting flipping! I found these cookies called "Icebox Cookies" and totally made them! (Sort of like a chocolate chip cookie without the chocolate chips! Think again-they're insanely good!) Why I named the "Call Me Maybe" cookies is beyond me, but I found myself scribbling those words when the cookies came out! So here's how to make those cookies: (Thanks Dining on a Dime!), With a few pictures of my own!

Set oven to 325 degrees....

1 cup butter
2 cups brown sugar
3 eggs, beaten beforehand in a bowl
3 1/2 cups of flour (you must use the whole entire 3 1/2 cups or it will be too sticky!-note from me!)
1 tsp baking soda-"soda" (Who knew that meant baking soda? Uh...let's go on, shall we?)
1/2 tsp salt
Gel sparkle icing

In the recipe, they said nuts was optional, but I don't think nuts taste that great with this recipe! If you have some coconut and an almond on hand, top it, though!)

So the how-to:

In a mixer, cream the butter and brown sugar. Add eggs and blend until smooth like. Add the flour, baking soda and salt, then mix well. In the book, they say to put wax paper down on a cutting board, then roll into a log and chill in the fridge for a few hours, but I find no reason to. (I chilled some of the mix and put some mix directly in the oven, it made no difference by chilling it.)

SO, if you prefer not to chill, roll a spoonful of the mix into a ball and place in a pan. If you want, place an almond and some coconut on one to try!
and bake for 13-16-20 minutes depending on your oven. :)

Before baking/while baking! :)

After you take them out, let them cool for like, 3 minutes!   After that, ice them with the mini gellers writing "Call Me Maybe" or whatever you want!

La final result! Yes, you can thank me later AFTER you eat them! :)

Until "Call Me Maybe" isn't the #1 hit on Itunes, (Let's go Cody Simpson!!!)
